So today marks the day that the Canadian Men's Hockey team finally has a chance to redeem themselves and win Gold at the Olympics. It's been 8 long years since they captured gold...8 long years. And yet...if they play the way they did against the Slovaks...it could be a very very sad day here in Canada, and then we would all be waiting another 4 years for the next opportunity. Well that's if 2012 doesn't wipe us all off the face of the planet before hand. Which if the Canadians lose today might not be a bad thing.
And lets get to the meat and potatoes of the whole Canadian women smoking and drinking on the ice 70 minutes after everyone has left the arena, expect for arena staff and some members of the media. FUCK YOU AMERICAN/BRITISH media. I can't believe they have blown this out of the water. Thank god the Canadian official had the balls to say "its a Canadian way to celebrate", or else I would be off the rails right now.
"Is this the role models you want to show your young kids" - from one of ESPN's show.
Compared to the way you direct, violence, war, religion and other shit onto your youth south of the boarder...yes I wouldn't mind some women celebrating, drinking and smoking some cigars being a role model. Who would you like? Glenn Fucking Beck...Fuck me. I think the real reason they are so pissed was because of the cigars. That's a rich white man's activity, and women have no place doing such things according to these fucking morons.
One of the girls was only 18 Nate.
Fuck you Prude. How many American 19 year olds flooded over the boarder for the Olympics even though the drinking age down there is 21. A fucking lot...smart kids.
What about the American Snowboarder that got sent home Nate.
Don't necessarily agree with that either. Dude was celebrating and if that means he wants to take candid photos with hot young girls "biting" the medal as he has it dangling out of the crotch of his pants then so be it. And I bet your going to see a lot more "teen" males snowboarding by next year. Shit maybe I'll take up the sport...(editors note* no sex for you for a month*.)
And the best part of all of this...what was the very first shot of John Montgomery after winning the skeleton as he walks the streets of Whistler? Being handed a pitcher of beer and chugging it. God bless Canada. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
